The video in brief
- Troye Sivan performs the electronic pop song Party
- Taken from his album She’s The Best
- Official music video featuring Sir Ian McKellen
- Directed and edited by Gordon von Steiner
- Video chosen for Vevo Staff Picks
Taken from the album She’s The Best, “Party” is the latest release from Troye Sivan. It sits between electronic music and pop, the two styles that shape the record it comes from. With the album now out, this song arrives alongside a full-length visual that brings an unexpected guest into the singer’s world.
That guest is Sir Ian McKellen, who appears in the official video. Gordon von Steiner directed the clip and also handled the edit, working with director of photography Maximilian Pittner and production designer Andy Hillman. Choreography comes from Sergio Reis, while Object & Animal served as the production company. Vevo picked the video for its Staff Picks.
