- VOLK writes and performs the song Heroine
- An indie pop track produced by Rudolph Willemse
- Official video from Blank Page Media
- Chelsea Art directed and produced the video
Written and performed by VOLK, “Heroine” is an indie pop song shaped in the studio by producer Rudolph Willemse. Dane Taylor mixed the track for Taylor Soundworks, and the final master came from Gavin Lurssen at Lurssen Mastering. The result is a polished single that blends indie guitar sensibilities with a pop focus.
Its official video is a Blank Page Media production, with Chelsea Art serving as both director and producer. Thomas Willows handled photography and colour grading, while Sheldon Yoko edited the footage. A sizeable group of extras joins the shoot, among them Jaco Snakehead Venter and Laudo Liebenberg. Thanks go to The Dark Horse Bar, Lakeside Breweries and Zootee Studios.
