Nigerian singer Yemi Alade returns with Alhaja, a song drawing on hip hop and pop that forms part of her project It’s Yemi Alade. She wrote the lyrics with Ikemefuna Nwanonye. Ifiok Effanga produced the track and composed it alongside Charles Akwuba, while SmathAudio and Vtek handled the sound engineering and the mix.
Effyzzie Music presents the official video, which Clarence Peters directed. He also served as its director of photography, editor and colourist, with Capital Dreams of Lagos as the production house and Rotimi as creative director. Styling for the star came from Shitta Athena Prisca, in outfits by MYSTRIBYFAB. The clip has been chosen for Vevo Staff Picks.
