Christmas gets turned upside down in the animated holiday special A Proud Family Wizmas, when Penny Proud’s rant about Wizmas and the commercialisation of the season prompts Santa to quit on Christmas Eve. Guilted into the red suit, Penny takes over his rounds. Kyla Pratt, Tommy Davidson, Paula Jai Parker, Jo Marie Payton and Cedric the Entertainer lead the voice cast, with David H. Brooks directing.
The trailer follows the reluctant stand-in as she delivers Yuletide cheer alongside Santa’s irreverent elves. Along the way, she discovers that the Christmas spirit is still alive. Blending comedy and music, the special premieres on Disney+ on Saturday, 14 November.
