Set in 1858, it follows Winifred Notty, an eccentric young governess played by Maika Monroe, who arrives at the remote gothic manor Ensor House. Thomasin McKenzie, Ruth Wilson, Jason Isaacs and Evie Templeton also star.
The trailer sets up the mystery at Ensor House. As Winifred settles in, members of staff begin to inexplicably disappear, and the owners start to wonder whether something is amiss about their new governess. Ariel Marx composed the music.
