Set in 1858, the horror thriller Victorian Psycho follows Winifred Notty, an eccentric young governess who takes up a post at Ensor House, a remote gothic manor. Maika Monroe plays the newcomer, with Jason Isaacs, Thomasin McKenzie, Ruth Wilson and Evie Templeton also in the cast. Zachary Wigon directs from a script by Virginia Feito, and the film runs 102 minutes.
This trailer sets up the mystery at the heart of the story. As Winifred settles into her new household, members of staff start disappearing without explanation, leaving the owners to wonder whether something is wrong with their latest hire. South African audiences can catch it only in cinemas, including Ster-Kinekor, from 13 November 2026.
