Arcade brawling returns with The Takeover 2, an action beat ’em up from developer Pelikan13. This sequel sends players back onto the streets, where they once again take on waves of enemies in fast, action-packed fashion. Its focus stays firmly on classic side-scrolling combat in the style of the arcade fighters that inspired it.
Shown during The MIX Fall Game Showcase 2026, the reveal trailer offers a first look at the street fights awaiting players. It highlights the hard-hitting brawls at the heart of the game. PC players will be able to pick it up on Steam, where the title is coming soon.
