The Vaal Dam has spent the week sitting above full capacity, which is the closest Gauteng gets to a spa day. After years of anxious water-restriction headlines, it’s lovely to hear of something in South Africa that’s simply overflowing. Taps are happy, gardeners are smug and the hosepipe can come out without guilt. If your bank balance fancies the same treatment, the combined R93 million on offer (R90 million Powerball, R3 million XTRA) would fill it right to the brim.
Numbers updated here after the draw. Powerball and Powerball XTRA draw every Tuesday and Friday at 21:00 SAST.
