Mazda has revised its CX-30 for the 2027 model year, adding a new Homura Plus grade, design changes, upgraded safety systems and two new paint colours. The updated car arrives in the UK later this year, where the range grows from 17 to 21 models.
Since its launch in 2019, the compact SUV has become one of the brand’s biggest global sellers. UK sales began in January 2020 and have reached 49,419, while 320,000 have been sold across Europe and global production has passed 1.4 million cars.

Mazda CX-30 engines and UK grades
In the UK, Homura Plus joins the existing Prime-Line, Centre-Line, Homura, Exclusive-Line and Takumi grades. Buyers again choose between a 140ps e-Skyactiv G and a 186ps e-Skyactiv X petrol engine, the latter available with all-wheel drive. Every grade except Prime-Line offers a manual or automatic gearbox.
The entry-level Prime-Line comes only with the e-Skyactiv G unit. Smart Brake Support has been enhanced, Blind Spot Monitoring now includes a door opening warning, and Driver Monitoring is standard on all models. Centre-Line moves from 16-inch grey to 18-inch silver alloy wheels.
Homura and Homura Plus styling changes
Homura gains a black grille surround wing, dark plated badges, Gloss Black beltline mouldings and black roof rails. Homura Plus adds 12-speaker BOSE audio, black leather upholstery, power adjustable front seats, gunmetal and gloss black decorative panels, LED signature lighting front and rear with LED headlights, a 360-degree view monitor and, for the first time on the CX-30, front-seat ventilation.
Exclusive Line, Takumi and new colours
Exclusive Line takes a silver approach, with silver roof rails, grille surround wing and beltline trim, plus extra stitching on the instrument panel and door trims. Takumi remains the flagship and shares that silver detailing, while adding a 360-degree monitor with See-Through-View, previously found only on larger models such as the CX-60. Two new paint colours, Aero Grey and Zinc Green Metallic, join the palette, and the green shade will also appear on the 2027 MX-5.

Makoto special edition and UK pricing
The CX-30 accounts for around 20 per cent of Mazda UK’s sales volume. Laura Brailey, Mazda Motors UK Sales Director, said that “with the inclusion of more safety features across all models, a pair of new colours and two new model grades, the CX-30 range is stronger than ever.”
The Makoto special edition follows in the UK in early 2027, with a light cloth and stone artificial leather interior, dark plated badges, a black front signature wing, 18-inch black alloy wheels and black mirror caps. Its final UK specification is still to be confirmed. UK pricing for the 2027 range will be announced in the Autumn.
