- 2+2 coupé, 4 700 mm long.

- Future models up to 4.7 metres long.

Alfa Romeo has revealed the Cuorerosso concept car, which makes its world debut at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. The brand describes it as neither a preview of a production model nor a styling exercise. Instead, it is meant to inspire future models and to set out how the brand intends to approach electrification.
The name combines the Italian words for heart and red. According to Alfa Romeo, the concept draws on three themes linked to the brand’s identity. These are Italy, sportiness and the colour red, expressed through the car’s shapes, proportions, materials, colours and design solutions.
Cuorerosso dimensions and aerodynamics
The Cuorerosso is a 2+2 coupé that mixes Gran Turismo character with supercar proportions. It is 4 700 mm long, 1 980 mm wide and 1 331 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2 930 mm and a weight of 1 750 kg. Its uninterrupted body shape, a Coda Tronca truncated tail and a low diffuser built into the bodywork give it a drag coefficient (Cx) of 0.28.
A wedge line runs along the side from front to rear and ends at the Coda Tronca. At the front, the Scudetto forms part of the Trilobo, both reinterpreted for the concept.
Bellezza Necessaria design approach at Alfa Romeo
The concept follows Bellezza Necessaria, or Necessary Beauty, a design philosophy coined by Alfa Romeo. It removes superfluous elements and gives each component a specific function. After only a week or two of initial sketches, the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile moved to three-dimensional modelling. Designers treated the car as a single solid block, without wheels, glazing or details, to focus on proportions and volumes.
Future Alfa Romeo multi-energy line-up
Alfa Romeo says the Cuorerosso’s design direction will appear in a multi-energy line-up covering the key segments of the market. It will be built on flexible architectures, with models up to 4.7 metres long and the potential for Quadrifoglio versions.
Santo Ficili, Alfa Romeo and Maserati CEO, said the brand brings its identity “into the future, one open to different energy solutions, in which technology, function and quality are always at the service of emotions and driving pleasure.”
The Cuorerosso is on display at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Alfa Romeo has not announced a production version of the concept.
