Michelle Yeoh, the Oscar-winning actor and producer, has been named a global brand ambassador for Bentley. The appointment comes just weeks after the unveiling of the Torcal, a new model line for the marque and its first fully electric vehicle. A portrait of Yeoh by Bentley External Creative Director Greg Williams accompanies the news.
She joins a roster of ambassadors that includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mai Ikuzawa and Williams himself. According to the company, the role formalises a long-standing relationship with the brand, one that echoes that of her husband, Jean Todt. His Bentleys include a 1965 Continental S3, a 2019 Mulsanne and a 2025 Flying Spur Speed 1st Edition.

Michelle Yeoh and her ties to Cheshire
Born in Malaysia, Yeoh moved to the UK as a teenager to train in ballet. She went on to study Creative Arts with Drama in Cheshire, just 15 miles from Crewe, where Bentley has its home and where its cars are designed, engineered and handcrafted.
A screen career spanning four decades
After establishing herself in Hong Kong in the 1980s, the actor became one of Asia’s most successful stars and was known for performing her own stunts. She has appeared in more than fifty films, among them Tomorrow Never Dies, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Memoirs of a Geisha, Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wicked, as well as the TV series Star Trek: Discovery.
In 2023 she became the first Asian woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress, for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Her latest work includes The Surgeon, Blade Runner 2099 and The Wandering Earth III.

Yeoh and Bentley on the Torcal era
Explaining the partnership, Yeoh said she has always been drawn to stories about characters who evolve without losing who they are at their core. “Bentley embodies that same idea: a brand that has reinvented itself again and again while staying true to its craftsmanship and its soul,” she said. “Torcal represents Bentley’s next chapter, and I’m honoured to be part of telling that story.”
Ben Whattam, Bentley Marketing Director, described her as an action star, Bond icon and global legend. Announcing the role alongside the launch of the Torcal, he said, is intended “to bring to life the confidence, character and ambition that define Bentley today.”
