Chery UK has launched a Chery Approved Used programme for pre-owned Chery vehicles, which will be offered by every Chery retailer in the UK. The launch coincides with the brand’s UK retailer network reaching 100 sites.
Chery launched in the UK in August 2025 and, after little more than a year, has taken a record 2.79% share of the UK new car market. With 100 sites now open, 78% of the UK population is less than 30 minutes from their nearest retailer. The programme is intended to support that growth while protecting residual values as more pre-owned models become available.
Chery Approved Used eligibility and inspection
To be eligible for the programme, vehicles must have a full Chery service history, meet criteria on age, mileage and condition, and pass a 120+ point inspection before undergoing a preparation process. The inspection covers each vehicle’s mechanical, safety, electrical and cosmetic condition, and every car is also subject to a road test.
Warranty, finance and exchange policy
Every Approved Used vehicle is offered with a minimum 2-year warranty, while Chery Super Hybrid models also come with a battery health certificate. The standard 7-year/100,000-mile warranty stays with the vehicle.
The programme includes a range of flexible financing options and £350 excess cover. Customers who change their minds can exchange their Approved Used vehicle within 30 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Chery’s line-up consists of four TIGGO SUVs, from the compact TIGGO 4 to the TIGGO 9, each available with Chery Super Hybrid technology, which pairs all-electric driving with a petrol engine for longer distances.
