Fresh images of the all-new TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7 have been released following the global debut of both SUVs at Chery Brand Night in Wuhu, China. The event formed part of the 2026 Chery Global User Summit, held under the theme ‘Together. For Family’.

Offered in more than 75 markets worldwide, the TIGGO 7 is one of the brand’s most successful global models. It has been part of the UK line-up since launching last summer. According to the manufacturer, the new version of the compact SUV focuses on quality, comfort and everyday practicality.
TIGGO X7 opens a new series
As the first model in the new TIGGO X series, the TIGGO X7 introduces a rugged design language. It is intended to pair the comfort of everyday urban driving with the ability to handle varied road conditions, and Chery says its multi-terrain capability suits families on weekday commutes as well as on holidays outdoors. Both newcomers follow the company’s ‘For Family’ philosophy, which aims to address the different mobility needs of families.
Families and footballers at Chery Brand Night
Special guests at the reveal were families from the UK, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Brazil and Ecuador. Gathered at the Wuhu Grand Theatre, they shared personal stories about family life and saw how Chery designs its vehicles around the real-world needs of customers.
Joining them were Guibing Zhang, Executive Vice President of Chery Auto, and brand ambassadors Peter Crouch and Edwin van der Sar. The wider summit showcased the company’s research and development work, including humanoid robots, Robotaxis, megawatt EV charging and eVTOL aircraft.
Chery TIGGO range in the United Kingdom
Chery UK launched in August 2025 and its line-up now spans four TIGGO SUVs, from the compact TIGGO 4 to the flagship TIGGO 9, each available with Chery Super Hybrid technology. UK customers receive a seven-year warranty and complimentary roadside assistance, backed by a retail network of 85 locations.
