Contract hire companies in the United Kingdom have responded positively to the Mazda CX-6e after a national roadshow, and pricing guide CAP has now set residual values for the all-electric SUV ahead of its arrival there this November.
For the range-topping CX-6e Takumi 190kW, CAP has set a residual value of 55% at three years and 30,000 miles. The figures come from the CAP Gold Book of October 2026.

How the CX-6e compares with rivals
That figure places the large SUV ahead of several direct competitors. The Changan Deepal S07 Ultra 160kW sits at 46.3%, the Kia EV6 Air 168kW at 41%, the MG MG6 Trophy 180 kW at 45% and the Audi Q4 E-Tron Performance 210kW at 37.1%.
Only the Tesla Model Y 220kW, at 58.5%, is rated higher. CAP’s data nevertheless puts Mazda’s first all-electric large SUV in a competitive position against the established Tesla.
Mazda roadshow for contract hire vendors
Before the debut, Mazda took the car on a national roadshow visiting many of the biggest contract hire vendors in the UK. Residual value setters and asset management specialists were invited to view and assess a left-hand drive example.
According to Alex Janes, Head of Fleet at Mazda Motors UK, the response supported CAP’s assessment. “Vendors responded extremely positively to its styling, quality, market positioning, range, specification and pricing,” he said.
Janes described the model as one that takes the brand into a new sector and broadens its appeal among corporate customers and user-choosers. It follows the introduction of the Mazda6e in September as the next step in the company’s electrification strategy.

Mazda CX-6e prices in the UK
The CX-6e arrives in the UK this November in two grades. The Takumi is priced at £42 990 and the Takumi Plus at £45 350, with Mazda expecting strong uptake from fleet buyers.
