Less than two weeks after the world premiere of the all-new Tucson, Hyundai has unveiled a sportier N Line version of the SUV at the Paris Motor Show. It pairs the comfort, practicality and technology of the new generation with a distinct exterior package and a darker, performance-inspired cabin.
The focus is on design rather than outright performance. The company says the N Line is not a separate high-performance derivative, but a more expressive take on the Tucson for buyers who want it to stand out.

Tucson N Line exterior design
Up front sits a more angular bumper with a pronounced chin spoiler and satin black aero ducts. Muscular side skirts, body-coloured lower door trims and slimmer fender claddings follow along the flanks, together with gloss black mirrors and C-pillar inserts. At the rear, a sculpted bumper carries body-coloured diffuser-effect inserts and twin exhaust outlets with brightwork, while model-exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels and N Line badges complete the look.
Interior and practicality
Inside, an exclusive Black monotone cabin gets red accents and stitching across the seats, doors and dashboard. The sport seats mix textile suede and leather, and further touches include an N steering wheel with perforated leather grips, bright metal pedals and N Line scuffplates.
Practicality is unchanged. Boot space reaches up to 613 litres (VDA), the 4:2:4 split rear bench slides by 150 mm, and second-row passengers get two 100 W USB-C ports. The Pleos Connect system, based on Android Automotive OS, runs on a 17-inch display as standard. “It is a more expressive Tucson for customers who want their SUV to stand out,” said Xavier Martinet, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe.

Hyundai Tucson N Line powertrains and towing
The N Line shares the full Tucson engine range. A 110 kW / 150 PS 1.6 T-GDi 48-volt mild hybrid drives the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The hybrid combines a 1.6 T-GDi engine with a 1.49 kWh battery for 180 kW / 245 PS, using a six-speed automatic with front- or all-wheel drive.
Plug-in hybrid versions, also with front- or all-wheel drive, produce 215 kW / 292 PS, and their 17.1 kWh battery gives up to 67 kilometres of electric range on the 20-inch wheels. Towing capacity is up to 1 910 kg for the hybrid and 1 810 kg for the plug-in hybrid. Figures remain subject to final homologation, and specifications may vary by country.
