For four days from 20 to 23 October, media, key opinion leaders and user representatives from numerous countries and regions will get a close look at the brand’s engineering at the 2026 Jetour Global Technology Experience Day. The venue, Wuhu, is home to the brand’s global headquarters and a major centre for its research, development and manufacturing.
Themed “Future Travel Starts Now”, the event takes guests through Wuhu in Anhui Province, Moganshan and Xiazhu Lake in Zhejiang Province, covering cities, mountains and wetlands. The programme combines technology demonstrations, on-road driving, outdoor living and ecological conservation.

Jetour G700 and off-road technology
The XWD Fully Automatic Intelligent AWD system and GAIA All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture are among the systems on show. Both feature in the G700, which launches in South Africa next year, and are designed to handle mountain terrain, water crossings, gravel roads and steep slopes.
The manufacturer draws on its group’s work in artificial intelligence, intelligent driving, smart cabins and intelligent chassis. According to the company, technology should be experienced and validated through real journeys rather than confined to data or exhibition stands.
C-DM hybrid system and cabin
Also featured is the C-DM hybrid system, which balances performance and energy efficiency for urban commuting and long-distance travel. Intelligent driving assistance and efficient energy replenishment are aimed at longer trips, while the cabin offers in-car technology, a quiet interior and versatile space.
Jetour sales and Travel+ strategy
Launched globally in 2018, the brand follows a “Travel+” strategy that builds travel scenarios into product development. It is now present in over 100 countries and regions, with cumulative global sales of more than 2.56 million units, and ranks first in SUV sales among Chinese brands in several overseas markets.
Jetour arrived in South Africa in 2024. Locally, it has surpassed sales expectations across its Dashing, X70 Plus and T-Series models and is among the country’s top 10 best-selling automotive brands. South African buyers can expect the G700 to join that line-up next year.
