At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, Kia is giving the all-new Seltos HEV its European premiere. The hybrid heads a display of electrified models that also includes the new K4 HEV, the complete GT family and the PV5 Passenger and PV5 Cargo.
Now in its second generation, the Seltos is Kia’s second best-selling model globally. It sits in the C-SUV segment and pairs a rugged design with modern technology, practical functionality and convenience.
Seltos HEV and its e-AWD system
The SUV is the first Kia to use an e-AWD system, which provides precise torque distribution, improved traction and enhanced stability. It adds to the brand’s European HEV range alongside the Sportage, Niro and K4.
Kia K4 HEV debut and production date
Also on show is the K4 HEV, making its European motor show debut ahead of the scheduled start of production on 15 October 2026. It will be on display on 12 October only, during the press day. Offered in Hatchback and Sportswagon body styles, it combines a full HEV powertrain with the model’s spacious interior. With this addition, Kia offers HEV powertrains across the large SUV, family SUV, compact SUV, hatchback and estate car markets.
Kia GT family and PV5 electric vans
The fully electric GT family appears complete in Paris. The recently launched EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT join the EV6 GT and EV9 GT, making five models in total. The PV5 Cargo and PV5 Passenger 7-seat represent the Platform Beyond Vehicle line-up, which grew recently with the unveiling of the PV7 at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover. Other PV5 variants include the Cargo L2/H2, Cargo L1/H1, Chassis, Passenger 5-seat, WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle) and Crew.
Kia sales momentum and show details
According to the latest ACEA registration data, Kia is Europe’s fastest-growing top 10 passenger-car brand year-to-date, with registrations up 9.0% between January and August 2026 and market share at 4.1%. Its hybrid sales are currently led by the Sportage HEV. In the UK, electrified vehicles account for 65% of the brand’s sales to end-September 2026, against a market average of 54%.
The Paris Motor Show runs from 12 to 18 October, with the 1 000m² Kia display in Hall 6 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. UK pricing, specifications and availability for the Seltos HEV, K4 HEV and K4 Sportswagon HEV will be revealed in due course.
