LDV has introduced its Deliver 9 and G10+ commercial vans at a launch event held in Fourways, Johannesburg, giving South African businesses two more van options from the brand. The G10+ is priced from R530 000 and the Deliver 9 from R749 900, and both are aimed at operators in courier, logistics and conversion work.
Although many assume the name stands for Light Delivery Vehicles, the acronym comes from Leyland DAF Vans, a heritage that dates to the founding of Leyland Motors in 1896 in the UK. The brand is now part of the SAIC Motor Group, one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers.
