Nissan South Africa has launched a Nissan Value Advantage Parts campaign to support older Nissan vehicles, offering affordable service kits and related components, including filters, for the NP300 Hardbody and NP200. The kits are available from Nissan dealers nationwide and, through a collaboration with the Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), from its network of independent workshops.
Nissan NP300 and NP200 service kits
The campaign focuses on major- and minor-service kits, as well as Nissan Value Advantage filters. The kits and standalone parts cover the Nissan NP300 range and the full NP200 line-up, including the 8-valve petrol model, the 16-valve models and the 1.5 dCi diesel models, which were especially popular with private buyers.
Although production of the NP300 Hardbody and NP200 has ceased, thousands of the vehicles remain in daily service in South Africa.
Nissan Value Advantage Parts warranty
Value Advantage Parts are intended as an affordable option for owners who want to keep older Nissan vehicles maintained. The parts are validated by Nissan, carry their own warranty and are supported by Nissan South Africa if they do not meet the required specifications.
Juan Wheeler, Managing Director of Nissan South Africa, said the company wants to support owners of older vehicles “that are beyond their mechanical warranty but still have many years of useful service left.”
Nissan collaboration with MIWA workshops
The collaboration with MIWA extends the reach of Nissan’s parts offering to independent workshops serving the country’s established Nissan vehicle population, and includes a dedicated support line for MIWA members.
Freddie Louw, Aftersales General Manager at Nissan South Africa, said the programme and collaboration are aimed at “strengthening customer choice, improving accessibility” for owners of older Nissan vehicles.
Availability at Nissan dealers in South Africa
From launch, the Value Advantage Parts and service kits are available over the counter at Nissan dealers across South Africa and through participating MIWA members. According to Wheeler, Nissan has more than 100 dealers in its network, and the average South African is never more than 25 minutes from one. More information is available at www.nissan.co.za.
