Making its European motor show debut, the OMODA 4 compact SUV went on display at the 2026 Paris Motor Show ahead of its launch in the UK in 2027. The model was the focus of OMODA&JAECOO’s first appearance at the event, held from 12 to 18 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
Omoda 4 design and hybrid powertrain
First revealed globally at Auto China 2026, the crossover was shown there as a full hybrid with the brand’s SHS-H Super Hybrid System. It is the latest application of the ‘Cyber Mecha’ design language, with sharp geometric forms, multidimensional surfaces and o-universe lighting. Inside, a starship-style cockpit takes its cues from gaming and digital environments.
The design follows the brand’s ‘BE THE ONE’ philosophy, which centres on individuality and self-expression.
Super Intelligent Cockpit and UK line-up
In the UK, the newcomer will sit alongside the OMODA 5 as a compact SUV aimed at younger, technology-focused buyers. It will also be the first model in the range to receive the Super Intelligent Cockpit, a system designed to understand driver intent, learn user habits and deliver increasingly personalised interactions.
Gary Lan, CEO of OMODA&JAECOO UK, described the model as “youthful, fashion-conscious and technology-led”, adding that it appeals “to customers who want something a little different”.
Esports display and UK sales
As an Official Automotive Partner of VALORANT Esports EMEA, the brand has brought esports-inspired visuals and interactive experiences to its stand in Hall 4.
September was the dual-brand’s best month in the UK, with 22,296 registrations, up 106% year-on-year, and a 6.37% share of the new-car market. The JAECOO 7 recorded 10,813 registrations to become Britain’s best-selling new car that month, its second monthly number-one of 2026.
Paris show dates and next steps
Following Paris, the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit takes place in China from 19 to 24 October under the theme ‘DRIVE TO THE NEXT VIBE’, where more on future products, technology and design is expected. Visitors can see the OMODA 4 at Hall 4, Stand A91, with public days running from Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 October 2026. UK pricing has not been announced, with the launch there set for 2027.
