- Reputation Score of 789 out of 1,000.
- 11 retailers in UK Top 100 dealerships.
In its first year in the rankings, the Chinese brand house has taken third place among more than 60 car manufacturers in Reputation’s Automotive Industry Report 2026 for the UK. It finished two points behind second place and is the highest-ranked Chinese manufacturer in the report.

How the Reputation Score works
The annual report ranks UK manufacturers, dealer groups and dealerships by Reputation Score, a measure out of 1,000 of how visible, trusted and responsive a business is online. It is calculated across nine components, among them customer review sentiment, review volume, listing accuracy, search visibility and responses to reviews, and is closely aligned with how local search algorithms rank businesses.
Brands are covered whether or not they use Reputation’s platform. OMODA&JAECOO UK scored 789/1,000, with a customer sentiment score of 86/100.
OMODA&JAECOO retailers in the UK Top 100
Eleven of the group’s retailers appear in the report’s UK Top 100 dealerships. Meadens Christchurch is ranked second in the country, with OMODA&JAECOO Folkestone among the others listed.
OMODA launched in the UK in August 2024 and JAECOO followed in January 2025. Since then the Reputation Score has been a business-wide KPI for every retailer, giving a consistent view of customer experience at individual sites, across retail groups and for the brand as a whole. Victor Zhang, Managing Director of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said customer experience “has been a priority across our network from day one”.
Anthony Gaskell, Chief Revenue Officer at Reputation, said the KPI “drove an immediate focus on search visibility, rapid response times, and customer sentiment at every site.”
Chinese brands and UK customer ratings
The report also points to a wider shift in the UK market. Chinese-owned brands recorded the highest average customer rating of any group, at 4.78 out of five, ahead of German premium brands on 4.46 and British premium brands on 4.43.
Their ratings are also more consistent. Premium brands vary by more than a full star between their own showrooms, while the variation across Chinese brands’ sites is around half that. These findings come as Chinese brands’ share of UK new car registrations has grown from 11% to 14% in a matter of months.
