Estimated consolidated shipments at Stellantis for the three months ended September 30, 2026 came to 1.3 million units, a decline of 1% year-over-year. Growth in battery electric vehicle (BEV) shipments in Enlarged Europe was offset by lower volumes in North America, where a summer production shutdown was planned, and in Middle East & Africa, mainly because of a drop in the Turkish market.
Shipments are the vehicles delivered to dealers, distributors or directly to retail and fleet customers, and they generally drive revenue recognition. The figures are unaudited and may be adjusted. They include Leapmotor International, a Stellantis-controlled company created in 2024, owned 51 percent by Stellantis and 49 percent by Leapmotor, which distributes Leapmotor-branded vehicles outside of China.
Jeep downtime hits North America shipments
North American shipments fell by approximately 47 thousand units, or 12%. Planned production downtime largely affected certain Jeep models, with the Grand Cherokee and Compass each down by approximately 25 thousand units. Ram partly made up the gap, adding approximately 17 thousand units on demand for new and refreshed products and expanded powertrain offerings, including the Ram 1500 light-duty HEMI V8 and the new Ram 1500 TRX.
Stellantis and Leapmotor growth in Europe
Enlarged Europe went the other way, rising by approximately 54 thousand units, or 10%. Smart Car platform nameplates such as the Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and Fiat Grande Panda contributed approximately 26 thousand units. The new Fiat 500 Hybrid added about 6 thousand and the new Jeep Compass about 5 thousand, while light commercial vehicles, led by BEV versions, rose by approximately 7 thousand units.
Those gains were partly offset by a decline of approximately 28 thousand units in other models, including the Opel Corsa, Opel Mokka, Citroën C4, Alfa Romeo Junior and Peugeot 2008. Leapmotor-branded shipments climbed by approximately 34 thousand units to 44 thousand, helped by the launches of the B10 and the B03X.
South America, Asia Pacific and Middle East results
South America slipped by approximately 1 thousand units. Brazil grew by about 13 thousand units on favourable industry conditions, but Argentina dropped by approximately 11 thousand amid weaker market conditions. In Asia Pacific, shipments of 15 thousand units were down approximately 6%, mainly due to Japan, with higher volumes in India partially offsetting the decline.
Middle East & Africa recorded the steepest fall, down approximately 20 thousand units, or 21%. Türkiye alone dropped by about 21 thousand units on weaker conditions and fewer imported vehicles ahead of local production of small vans, planned to start there in October 2026. Higher shipments in Algeria and Morocco more than offset lower volumes in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which were affected by the regional conflict.
