- Electric estate concept revealed by Vauxhall.
- First Vauxhall with the new Griffin emblem.
- All-wheel drive, top speed above 124mph.
- 285/35 R22 Goodyear tyres on three-section wheels.
- Public debut on 12 October in Paris.
Revealed ahead of the Paris Motor Show, the Sports Tourer eXperimental Concept, or STX Concept for short, is Vauxhall’s vision for future estate cars. The electric study also previews the next stage of the brand’s Bold and Pure design philosophy and is the first Vauxhall to carry the new Griffin emblem.
The ‘ST’ in the name links it to the brand’s Sports Tourer models, such as the New Astra Sports Tourer. Eurig Druce, Vauxhall Managing Director and Stellantis UK Group Managing Director, said the company is “reimagining the estate for the electric era, combining bold, visionary design with functionality, efficiency and driving pleasure.”

New Griffin emblem for Vauxhall
The Griffin has appeared on Vauxhall vehicles for more than 120 years. Its new form is sharper and more angular, and the flag has been removed for the first time. Designed to read more clearly when illuminated at the centre of the Vizor, the badge will also appear on the next all-new Vauxhall production model, due to be revealed in 2027.
STX Concept Vizor and exterior design
Up front, the Vizor is taller and more prominent, with angled vertical light elements forming its outer edges before fading towards the centre, where the illuminated Griffin sits within the Vauxhall Compass. At the rear, a steeply sloping profile adds load space, while slim illuminated axes frame a lit VAUXHALL wordmark.
Glass light strips run from the C-pillars into the roof, illuminated ‘STX’ lettering tapers along the sides and cameras replace conventional door mirrors. The silver-and-blue body has short overhangs and pronounced wheelarches.
Aerodynamics and electric drivetrain
Three-section alloy wheels, a nod to the Nova and first Corsa, wear 285/35 R22 Goodyear tyres. An active aerodynamic system extends blue diffusers from beneath the rear at speed, while vertical elements behind the wheels move outwards to reduce drag and improve stability.
Power comes from an electric architecture with all-wheel drive, and top speed is more than 124mph. The future interior will build on the ‘Painting with Light’ approach of the 2023 Vauxhall Experimental and 2025 Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, with lightweight seats and immersive lighting.

Paris Motor Show debut
Design elements from the concept will appear on future Vauxhall models. The STX Concept makes its public debut on Monday, 12 October at the Paris Motor Show 2026.
