A comprehensively reengineered version of the E10 has been shown by Zenos in production form for the first time, with nose-to-tail revisions that include new engines, control systems, styling and a revised cabin. The British lightweight sports car maker first launched the E10 in 2014.

Zenos E10 engines and performance
Two turbocharged petrol models make up the range. The E10 rZ uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine producing 380bhp at 6000rpm and 510Nm between 3000 and 4500rpm, all figures approximate. That gives around 480bhp per tonne and a 0 to 100 km/h time of about 3.2 seconds.
Below it sits the E10 r2, whose 2.3-litre engine develops 300bhp at 6000rpm and 425Nm at 3500rpm. Its power-to-weight ratio is 380bhp per tonne, and it reaches 100 km/h in about 3.8 seconds. Both have a top speed of around 150 mph, a six-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive, CAN bus control and new induction and chargecooler packages.
Carbon fibre body and revised chassis
Full carbon fibre bodywork and a carbon fibre tub sit on an extruded aluminium spine, keeping kerb weight at 790 kg. Front and rear track are wider than before, and the centre of gravity is slightly lower. Up front, pushrod suspension uses inboard-mounted dampers, while coil-over dampers at the rear mount directly to the aluminium subframe carrying the engine and gearbox. A limited slip differential and a revised gear linkage are fitted.
Braking has been reworked with larger 315 mm front rotors, four-piston calipers, new pads and a new master cylinder. New integrated headlights, extra brake cooling ducts and revised side skirts with winglets complete the exterior changes.
Cabin updates and finishes
Inside, a new dashboard carries the latest driver display and weatherproof switchgear linked to an AIMS PMU system. In-house developed carbon fibre seats are standard, and buyers choose between a full windscreen with wipers or a race wind deflector. Standard metallic colours include Race White, Nitro Blue, Volcano Red, Midnight Black, Screaming Green and Fireburst Yellow, with bespoke finishes also offered.
