Howzit, Western Cape. The working week starts wet and cool, with rain showers around Cape Town on Monday sitting between 15 and 18C. Tuesday and Wednesday bring slight rain and a slow dip, with Cape Town cooling to 12 to 16C by Wednesday. Things brighten from Thursday, when we see partly cloudy skies and a top of 18C, then Friday clears up nicely with a warm 20C to send you into the weekend.

Stellenbosch and Paarl follow the same pattern, starting with showers near 18C before easing into slight rain, while George stays a touch warmer, reaching 21C midweek. Keep the raincoat handy early in the week, especially if you are in Grabouw, Worcester, Prince Albert or Knysna, where weather advisories are in place.
