Set across one explosive night, the action thriller Best Pancakes in the County turns an unassuming small-town diner into the centre of a deadly standoff. Nicolas Cage and Justin Long head a cast that also includes Lauren German, Brandon Mychal Smith, Shelley Hennig, Tetiana Dar and Ravi Patel. Ken Sanzel wrote and directed the film, which runs 98 minutes and is distributed by IFC.
In the trailer, rogue federal agents clash with a fast-talking con man who has a dangerous past and a waitress hiding secrets of her own. As loyalties blur and tempers flare, staying alive comes down to who can outthink and outgun everyone else in the room. The movie arrives in select theatres and on VOD on 20 November.
