ChiaroScuro is a new Italian crime series set in the art world of Rome, where a serial killer chooses victims inspired by famous works of art. Cosmo Speranza, an art advisor who can spot forgeries and the son of a notorious forger who took his own life, must team up with police inspector Angelo Tiberi, who knows nothing about art.
The trailer sets the hunt among the city’s palaces and churches, with each crime scene a clue and each painting a message, as the case drags Cosmo back into the unsolved mystery of his father’s death. Pierpaolo Spollon, Andrea Lattanzi, Matilde Gioli, Romana Maggiora Vergano, Aurora Giovinazzo, Paz Vega and Alessandro Preziosi star. The series streams on Netflix from 11 November 2026.
