Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is set 24 years before The Hunger Games. It follows sixteen-year-old Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) of District 12 into the 50th Annual Hunger Games, the Second Quarter Quell, where twice as many tributes compete. Ralph Fiennes returns as President Snow, with Mckenna Grace as Maysilee Donner.
This fan edit trailer follows Haymitch into the arena, where he forms an unlikely alliance with Maysilee and joins a coalition set on challenging the Capitol, risking everything to take down the Games from within. Jesse Plemons, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Maya Hawke, Whitney Peak and Kelvin Harrison Jr also star. The 158-minute film arrives in cinemas and IMAX in November 2026.
