Set thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an epic fantasy drama. It follows an ensemble of familiar and new characters as long-feared evil re-emerges in Middle-earth. Charlie Vickers, Morfydd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Charles Edwards and Owain Arthur head the cast of the series, which first arrived in 2022.
Season 3 brings Sauron into his legendary armoured form as he enslaves his ring-servants and spreads destruction through deception and might. This new trailer also teases Gandalf emerging as the wizard of lore, while Galadriel grows into the Lady of Lothlórien. For the first time on screen, viewers will see the forging of the One Ring. South Africans can stream it from November 11 on Prime Video.
