Chery Q and TIGGO 4 1.5T in France
Designed for families, the Q combines a stylish exterior with generous space, responsive handling and intelligent in-car interaction. Its appearance in Paris marked its European public debut.
France is the first EU market to introduce the TIGGO 4 1.5T, an important volume model there. The SUV is aimed at daily family use, from commuting and shopping to school runs and weekend travel.
TIGGO 9 CSH safety testing in Romania
In September, the TIGGO 9 CSH passed both engineering tests at the Black Sea Safety Challenge in Romania. These were conducted in front of more than 150 European journalists and German technical experts.
Chery expansion plans for the EU
Having entered the EU market in 2025, the brand now has a presence in 18 European countries, with cumulative sales of more than 160,000 vehicles. Under the new plan, it will expand into 20 EU markets, establish 687 sales and service outlets and serve around 100,000 EU families in 2026. By 2027, those figures are expected to rise to 27 markets, 1,143 outlets and 300,000 families.
The roadmap also covers stronger local research and development, production and service networks, along with plug-in hybrid, hybrid and battery-electric powertrains. Group-wide, Chery Auto is targeting net zero across its own operations by 2037 and across its value chain by 2047. A series of events under the Chery International User Summit 2026 will follow in October with the theme “Together. For Family”.
