Honda Motor Southern Africa will host a Honda Family Fun Day on Sunday, 18 October 2026, at the ADA Training & Outdoor Centre in Hartbeespoort, Gauteng. The event gives South African riders, families and newcomers a chance to ride a range of Honda motorcycles in a controlled setting, with all proceeds from ticket sales donated to the Reach For A Dream Foundation.
The day combines on and off-road motorcycle demos, riding competitions and family activities, with multiple courses hosting different models.
Honda motorcycles available to ride
Riders can take part in demo experiences on the dual-purpose Honda CRF300L and CRF300 Rally. Younger riders and beginners can join supervised riding activities on the Honda CRF110F and CRF125F, with dedicated riding areas for both adults and children.
Riding guests will also be able to try Honda’s E-Clutch technology on the Honda NX500 and Honda XL750 Transalp, and see the new Honda CB1000GT sport tourer up close.
Competitions, prizes and event partners
The programme includes timed competitions, slalom racing and prizes. Riders will receive goodie bags and chances to win spot prizes from activities on the demo courses, while all attendees receive lunch and refreshments.
Event partners include Motul South Africa, Leatt South Africa and the ADA Training & Outdoor Centre. Honda says the event aims to introduce the next generation to motorcycling while giving existing riders an opportunity to experience its latest products and technologies.
Safety arrangements at the Hartbeespoort venue
Guests are encouraged to bring their own riding gear, although a limited number of helmets will be available on site. Medical personnel and marshals will be present throughout the day.
