Jaecoo J5 BEV joins the DigiCars portfolio
The group describes the J5 BEV as another addition to its growing portfolio. The model combines the practicality of a modern SUV with an all-electric powertrain.
According to DigiCars Group, the J5 BEV is aimed at professionals moving between meetings, entrepreneurs, young families managing school runs and weekend plans, and drivers who want technology, design and practicality in one vehicle.
New Northcliff multi-brand dealership
The arrival of the J5 BEV follows the opening of the group’s new flagship multi-brand dealership in Northcliff, Blackheath, Randburg. The facility brings Omoda and Jaecoo together alongside the newly introduced Lepas brand.
DigiCars Group on electric mobility
Azhar Abed, Group COO of DigiCars Group, said the J5 BEV “represents the type of vehicle we believe more South African motorists are going to start considering as electric mobility becomes increasingly part of everyday life.”
Abed added that the vehicle “isn’t asking customers to completely change the way they live,” pointing to its space, practicality, technology and SUV styling paired with an electric powertrain.
