Crews driving the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 won three major rally titles in the 2026 season: WRC2, the main support category of the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA European Rally Championship and the Czech Rally Championship. The international results are subject to confirmation by the FIA.

Virves and Viilo take WRC2 for Toksport WRT
Estonians Robert Virves and Jakko Viilo won the WRC2 title in a Fabia RS Rally2 run by Toksport WRT, with four victories and two second places across their seven nominated events. They won on Safari Rally Kenya, Acropolis Rally Greece, Rally Estonia and Rally Finland, and finished second in Chile and Italia.
“Škoda Motorsport has provided me a car which was superfast and reliable,” said the 26-year-old Virves after the season finale in Sardinia. He is the eighth Škoda driver to win a WRC2/WRC2 Pro/WRC2 Open title, and the pair also took the 2026 WRC2 Challenger category, reserved for drivers without a major international title.
Suninen wins the FIA European Rally Championship
Finland’s Teemu Suninen and co-driver Antti Haapala, driving for The Racing Factory, won Rally Poland, finished second on Rally di Roma Capitale, Barum Czech Rally Zlín and Rali Ceredigion in Wales, and placed fourth at the Andalusia Rally-Sierra Morena in Spain. It is the first major title of the 32-year-old Suninen’s career.
Stříteský repeats as Czech rally champion
Dominik Stříteský and Ondřej Krajča of the Auto Podbabská Škoda Team won four of six events, Rallye Český Krumlov, Agrotec Petronas Rally Hustopeče, Rally Bohemia and Rally Pačejov, giving the 26-year-old his second Czech title two years after his first. It is Škoda’s sixth consecutive title in the championship, where Jan Kopecký won eleven times in a Škoda.
Michal Hrabánek, Head of Škoda Motorsport, said the results give staff at Mladá Boleslav “even more motivation to further improve the Škoda Fabia for the 2027 season”.

Škoda’s earlier triple title seasons
Škoda crews also won all three titles in 2019, 2021 and 2022, with Kalle Rovanperä, Chris Ingram, Andreas Mikkelsen, Emil Lindholm, Efrén Llarena and Jan Kopecký among the champions. The Fabia RS Rally2 entered competition in 2023, and the next step for the Mladá Boleslav team is development of the car for 2027.
