On 22 October, new energy carmaker LEPAS will pair its debut concept with a fresh design language that signals how its next generation of models will look. The concept, the brand’s first, will be unveiled to the world at the Chery International User Summit in Wuhu, China, together with a display of technologies intended for those upcoming models.
The summit is an annual global showcase for the latest products and technology from across the Chery Group. LEPAS, a design-led brand from Chery Auto whose name combines the words ‘leopard’ and ‘passion’, will use the event to set out how it plans to pair distinctive design with features that make day-to-day driving easier.
LEPAS concept car and design language
Called Next-Generation Leopard Aesthetics, the design language debuts with the concept. It explores the next step in the brand’s styling, covering sculpted lines, the use of light and the way people interact with the car.
Design and technology are being developed together, shaping both how a LEPAS looks and how it feels to use. The stated aim is to make elegance part of the whole experience, from the first impression to the daily journey.
Technology for the LEPAS L6 and L4
Innovations previewed in Wuhu are planned for future cars, including the L6 and L4. The company says technology should enhance life without overcomplicating it, and aims to make advanced features feel intuitive so that drivers and passengers have a calmer, more comfortable experience.
Ray Wang, Managing Director of LEPAS UK, described the reveal as “an exciting glimpse of what comes next for LEPAS”. He said the new design language would give the brand a stronger visual identity, adding that elegant mobility means “distinctive design and thoughtful technology that enhance life”.
Global Elegant Lifestyle Week in Wuhu
The announcements form part of the first LEPAS Global Elegant Lifestyle Week, running from 18 to 24 October during the summit. Owners and partners from markets around the world will meet under the theme “Together in Elegance”, and at the Global Elegance Promenade owners will share stories from their cities and host interactive experiences.
LEPAS L6 and L4 timing in the UK
