A special edition called Helmsman has joined the INEOS Grenadier line-up for the 2027 model year. It is the first in a new line of editions inspired by the elements the 4X4 was designed to tackle, and it takes its theme from a nautical lifestyle.
Offered on both the Station Wagon and the Quartermaster double-cab pick-up, the edition carries over popular design features from previous special editions and adds new exterior and interior colour options.
Grenadier Helmsman exterior and equipment
Exclusive badging and a Dark Exterior Pack set the Helmsman apart. The pack comprises a black grille, dark skidplates and all-new matt black roof rails, while 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels complete the look.
Standard equipment includes privacy glass, heated leather seats, carpet floor mats over heavy-duty wash-down rubber flooring, locking wheel nuts, and either the rear access ladder or a load bay tub, depending on the model. Features from the Smooth Pack are also fitted, among them ambient lighting, front parking sensors and auxiliary electrical points.
Helmsman paint and interior colours
Eldoret Blue and Scottish White are offered as standard, with a contrast roof available in Inky Black or Scottish White. Buyers can also choose Whiteout Blue metallic, a deep blue paint originally developed by Arcane Works and previously exclusive to its models. Inside, the edition debuts oyster-coloured inserts in the black leather seats.
INEOS sales director on the edition
Sagree Sardien, Global Sales Director at INEOS Automotive, said the Grenadier “is in its element when recovering a boat or transporting kayaks to the coast,” and that the company had combined features from previous limited editions with new oceanic hues for watersports enthusiasts and seafarers.
He added that after three quarters of double digit growth, the evolution of the model line-up is focused on bringing new customers to the brand.

In the United Kingdom, prices for the Helmsman start from £70 995 and order books are now open. Production will run for a limited window ahead of the next elements-inspired special edition.
