Air travel has been added to the Lexus portfolio with Lexus Flight, a helicopter service operated by Aero Toyota using a dedicated Lexus Helicopter. The service is currently operating between city locations in Japan.
According to the company, the venture embodies its “Discover” brand message and forms part of a new mobility ecosystem that connects land, sea and air.

Lexus Discover brand message
The “Discover – imitate no one” message was introduced at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. With it, the brand reaffirmed its commitment to becoming one that delivers individual experiences for each customer.
Earlier projects extended that approach across land and sea. They include the LS Concept, a flagship study with a six-wheel package, and the LY680 yacht. The helicopter now completes a mobility offering that spans all three.
Journey from chauffeur to yacht
Working with Aero Toyota, the carmaker presents the trip as a personal experience from start to finish. A customer could be chauffeured to the heliport, fly to a city or resort and then spend time on the water aboard the LY680.
The aim, the company says, is to turn mobility from a means of reaching a destination into part of the customer’s lifestyle.

Lexus Helicopter cabin and facilities
The aircraft is a seven-seat Leonardo AW169 manufactured by Agusta. It has been customised with a bespoke cabin designed to reflect the brand’s approach to luxury and detail.
On board, passengers have Wi-Fi and a tablet system. This controls the cabin climate, lighting and entertainment, and shows a live feed of the views from an external camera.
For now, Lexus Flight operates only between city locations in Japan, and no pricing or other markets have been announced.
