Porsche delivered 178 532 cars to customers worldwide in the first nine months of 2026, compared with 212 509 in the same period of the previous year. The 16 per cent decline is unchanged from the result at the half-year mark, with third-quarter deliveries following the same trend.
In what it describes as a persistently challenging market environment, the company says it continues to pursue a value-oriented sales strategy and to keep supply and demand balanced.
Porsche 911 deliveries rise 12 per cent
The 911 was the only model line to grow, with deliveries up 12 per cent year-on-year to 42 217. GTS, Turbo and GT derivatives again accounted for a significant proportion of total sales across the range.
Matthias Becker, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG, said: “Our customers are deliberately choosing the exclusive and most emotionally engaging versions of our sports cars.”
Cayenne and Macan delivery figures
The Cayenne remained the best-selling model line with 59 586 deliveries, only 2 per cent below the previous year. Of these, 7 002 were the all-electric Cayenne, which reached customers from its market launch in the summer.
Macan deliveries totalled 51 025, down 21 per cent, made up of 23 029 fully electric examples and 27 996 combustion-engined units. Production of the combustion-engined Macan ended in summer 2026.
Panamera, Taycan and 718 decline
The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman recorded 3 291 deliveries, down 79 per cent, after production of the 718 model line ended in October of last year. Panamera deliveries reached 13 714, down 35 per cent, while the Taycan totalled 8 699 units, down 31 per cent.
Porsche deliveries by global region
North America remained the largest region with 56 088 cars, down 13 per cent, mainly due to the end of 718 production and strong prior-year Macan Electric sales. Europe excluding Germany took 44 949 cars, down 11 per cent, and Germany 20 954, down seven per cent.
The Overseas and Emerging Markets achieved 35 048 deliveries, down 19 per cent, partly due to availability gaps for the 718 and combustion-engined Macan. In China, deliveries fell 33 per cent to 21 493, and Porsche says it is prioritising long-term brand development there over short-term volume. Becker said the company remains committed to its value-over-volume strategy under its ‘Sportwagenschmiede ’35’ plan.
