Cape Town is the standout exception, enjoying clear skies and a pleasant high of 25C, though temperatures elsewhere stay noticeably cooler, with Johannesburg and Bloemfontein starting the morning at a chilly 9C. Coastal residents should keep an eye on the minor warnings in place for damaging waves and damaging winds, so take care along the shoreline and in exposed areas.
