Most of South Africa can expect a pleasant, largely clear Wednesday, with the warmest conditions in the interior, where Mahikeng and Kimberley climb to 29C, Polokwane reaches 27C and Johannesburg enjoys clear skies with a high of 26C. The eastern side of the country is a little damper, with slight rain in Durban (19 to 22C) and drizzle in Mbombela, while Gqeberha stays cloudy and cool at 13 to 18C and Cape Town is clear but crisp, ranging from 10 to 20C. The South African Weather Service has issued several minor warnings for damaging winds, so it’s worth checking the alerts for your area before heading out.
