A convoy of Lepas L6 EVs has completed a drive of approximately 700 kilometres from Shanghai to Wuhu in China, held on 19 and 20 October as part of the 2026 Chery International User Summit. Called the Lepas Global Elegance Drive, it formed part of the first Lepas Global Elegant Lifestyle Week, run under the theme “Together in Elegance”.
The route took 34 Elegant Driving Ambassadors from 15 countries through Tonglu, Qiandao Lake and Shexian, testing the electric car’s driving dynamics, ride comfort, intelligent parking, driving range and charging performance on varied roads.

Lepas L6 EV in city and highway traffic
Day one ran from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake. In urban traffic, drivers used the 540° panoramic view system, while ADAS features assisted on highways and urban expressways.
Thomas Jervis of the United Kingdom’s Auto Express said the acceleration is “very smooth” and that power delivery when merging onto highways was “sufficient to meet my needs”. He added that the driving range was broadly in line with the official figures.
Parking assist and vehicle-to-load at Qiandao Lake
At the lake, participants tried Automated Parking Assist (APA) and Remote Parking Assist (RPA) in narrow bays. They also used the vehicle-to-load (V2L) function at an outdoor camping set-up, where the group shared impressions of the car and discussed new energy mobility in different markets.
Mountain roads and cabin comfort
The second day continued to Wuhu over winding mountain roads and changing gradients. Steering followed driver inputs closely and body roll stayed controlled through the bends, while power delivery and braking worked together on climbs and descents. Over uneven surfaces, the chassis absorbed bumps, with little residual movement felt in the rear seats.
Cabin quietness, legroom and headroom also came under scrutiny on the long run. Jacobus Gert Hendrik Venter of South Africa’s Navigating Media singled out the interior, saying the materials “feel refined” and that “the Sony sound system is absolutely great”.

What the feedback means for Lepas
According to Lepas, feedback gathered from participants during the drive will be used to better understand user needs across its global markets. The release gives no pricing or local availability details for the L6 EV.
