Revealed at the global OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit in China, the OMODA X is a concept that looks at what defines an SUV, namely stance, space and versatility, and reworks each through the brand’s focus on design, technology and fashion.
The car is designed around weekdays in the city and weekends away, with the idea that a car can express personal style in the same way clothing does.

OMODA X exterior design and lighting
Sharp, angular surfaces develop the ‘Cyber Mecha’ design language introduced on the OMODA 4, which made its European motor show debut in Paris this month. Here it is applied to a wider body with broad shoulders and a tightly sculpted waistline. The concept was shown in silver and in green, each with a contrasting black roof.
Lightning-style tail lights follow those of the OMODA 7 and forthcoming OMODA 4, while arrowhead LED daytime running lights reflect the arrow-shaped rear lights of the OMODA 5.
Cabin screens and voice assistant
Inside, a twin-wing dashboard and an X-shaped floating centre console frame a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch central touchscreen. Physical controls remain for frequently used functions such as the air conditioning and drive modes.
OMODA calls the cabin its Super Intelligent Space. The voice assistant is designed to understand natural, conversational speech rather than set commands, and an X-MODE setting lets the driver tailor vehicle settings and responses to personal preferences.
Karaoke, night vision and practicality
A microphone system with four independent pickup zones allows passengers to sing along to in-car karaoke without handheld microphones. An infrared thermal imaging night vision system can identify potential hazards up to 90 metres ahead.
For carrying gear, the concept offers 200 mm of ground clearance, a 75 kg roof load capacity and 39 storage spaces, with a towing capacity intended to reach 1 800 kg.

OMODA X status in the UK
Specifications are as announced at the reveal and remain subject to change. UK availability of the OMODA X has not been confirmed, while the OMODA 4 is due to go on sale in the UK in 2027.
