On Sunday, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Queen Elizabeth has tested positive for Covid-19.
This comes after both Prince Charles and his wife Camilla tested positive last week.
Queen Elizabeth is showing “mild symptoms”
It seems as though the queen’s symptoms aren’t too worrying as she will continue with “light duties” at Windsor over the coming week. And according to the palace, the monarch is luckily only experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms”.
“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” read the statement.

The positive test comes days before the last pandemic restrictions are set to be removed. England is expected to drop mandatory self-isolation when someone tests positive.
The Queen, who will be celebrating her 96th birthday in April, received her first vaccine in January 2021 and is now fully vaccinated.
And according to BBC royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell, Queen Elizabeth has been taking life “rather more easily” since she had to spend a night in hospital in October last year.
